Hand-carved wood Blackbird (Turdus merula) with a worm made with reclaimed wood, using old nails for legs, beak and worm. It sits upon a piece of driftwood found on the northern islands of the Netherlands. It is painted with a wash to replicate the birds natural colors. All birds are approximately life size. Figurine measures 18cm x 12cm x 8 cm
