Hand-carved wood Common Linnet (Carduelis cannabina) made with reclaimed wood, using old nails  for legs. It sits upon a piece of driftwood found on the northern islands of the Netherlands. It is painted with a wash to replicate the birds natural colors. All birds are approximately life size. Size of figurine 20cm x 13cm x 34cm
