Hand-carved wood Kingfisher (Alcedo atthis) made with reclaimed wood, using old nails for legs. It sits upon a piece of old apple tree stake found from a apple tree farm in Groningen in the Netherlands. It is painted with a wash to replicate the birds natural colors. All birds are approximately life size. Figurine measures 8cm x 6cm x 15cm
